Wine and Cheese party last night. Lots of fun. Towards the end watched McCain and Obama at the Smith dinner. Low intensity night, but we all had fun. Jayanth ended up coming, which was nice. His bf jumped ship early on their visit so they didnapos;t go for a weekend in NYC after all. But was nice to have him there-- since heapos;ll be leaving for Austin soon.

I refer to my parties as an attempt to build community, which it is. But sometimes I wonder if itapos;s working. Maybe the point is that Iapos;m trying. Regardless, it was a fun time last night.

After watching Go-On 35 and Kiva 37, I have two words to say.

Holy fuck.

Wataru going evil from Zanbat Sword and the fight near the throne was awesome, as well as Mio and Taiga finding out Wataru is Kiva, and Wataru finding out Mio is a Fangire and Taiga is Saga. And I believe Nago has snapped But heapos;s a lot more enjoyable than in the beginning of the season, which is good. Kengo, on the otherhand, is pissing me off. I understand being pissy that Wataru took your mentor away from you and that you canapos;t play the guitar because of your arm - but that doesnapos;t give a reason to act like an ass to everyone with a holyier-than-thou attitude. I hope he snaps back out of it in time for the Kiva+2 IXA fight

Go-On..the series has needed an episode like this for a while(Hiroto angst over his sisters injury is all well and good, but Sosuke needed focus..) with it ending on a sad note.(Sosuke) Lets just hope that we get no more silly episodes(except, I forgive christmas episodes. Mostly.). I donapos;t mind a little silly, but completely whacky like G3 Princess episode kinda throws me off.

Wow this is an early recap but it is what it is. Shoot I took Samson to the Churchapos;s activity day. It was like Hallejuah Night last night but it was better in my opinion. Samson got his face painted and did some things so that he could get tickets for his reward. He got some nice toys and gifts so that was good for him. Its lookin like I will not be takin Michigan anymore b/c they killed my ticket today. Sonja made it here and she is in the living room wantin me to get her a blanket. I got a call from LaNeil who said he had a hook up for us but I declined the invite. The Octoberfest activites are still goin on outside but I think they will finally end at 10. Haha I only have my Powerball ticket to keep hope alive tonite. I am bout to end this and hop in the bed and I may peep out a DVD. I will get back in the morn sometime since no Sunday School tomorrow. I am bout to go and will get back in the morn ight....Peace

well, i think i no almost more than anyone that traveling can be a hassel, but ya gotta admit its fun, seeing new sites, new places, new cultures, new pple, and the rest of that new stuff.� i was born in England, then when i was 2, me and my family moved to france and that same year we moved to florida, (ya, in america).� we flew over 2500 mi., a 14 hr flight.� yup it was awesum, but like i�remamber it, i was only freakin 2.� from there we�move to another house in florida, the we moved to�a hotel in missouri, before we moved in to our permanent house, (for the�time being).� and we never flew�between any of these places, we drove, yup�we drove 1700 mi. From FL. To MO.� we went through georgia, alabama, mississippi, louisiana, arkansas, and up throught MO.� and speaking of�mississippi and louisiana, OMG, i will niver go through those states again.� we stopped�at a gas sation in louisiana and once we got we realized that we ttly surrounded by bugs.� we were literally surrounded.� seriously.� there were bugs evreywhere-- on the ground, in the sky, near the lights,�on the vehicle, on us� it. Was. Disgusting� and there were pple just out walking there was absolutely nothing wrong, that there�werent bugs cralwing�into every crevis of everything� ya we�didnt spend�long there,�we just got our gas and�hightailed it�out�of there. Thank god. I just got back from Passchendaele (I canapos;t believe I actually spelled that right). It was good. There were a few awkward bits, and a couple of bits where I was just "That isnapos;t symbolic at all" (read: sarcasm), but it was still good.

On the way home, me and Cid were talking about WWI and how it impacted war, when I saw these boxes out for recycling. You know the ones that people put on the curb? Sometimes they put out... Other stuff (I have a photograph of a ton of stuff I saw one day including a couch and a classic baby carriage), and this one had two potted plants. I stop, pick it up, and take it with me. Itapos;s on my table right now. I donapos;t even know what it is. But itapos;s healthy, with no apparent reason for it to be thrown out. I am a little surprised at myself for taking it home, but I donapos;t regret it.

So rather than automatically bill my credit card, it tried to automatically bill thin air and didnapos;t particularly like that. Everything SHOULD be fine, since it was caught in time (DANGER WILL ROBINSON style) but if for some reason sab appears to die today or tomorrow for a little bit, this would be the cause.

That Certain Thing would be the drawing up of a Will. This post is brought to you by my husband's annoying tendency to line up all his ducks.

And he wanted me to ask YOU, since we are far from the lawyery types and honestly have no idea what we are doing. I am all "I'm SURE we can get one off the internet" and he is all "But don't you think we should, you know, find out a little more?"

So. Wills. Ick ick ick.

First of all: I KNOW. It is 100 kinds of horrible that we don't have one and that we are only NOW thinking of making one which means the actually making one won't come about for another six months to a year. HORRIBLE.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, do any of YOU have wills? How did you do it? Where did you go? Do you have an extra million you would like to leave me?

It's not that we haven't thought about it. I've actually thought about it a lot, but then I get to the part where I have to figure out what will happen to Jack and Molly if Phillip and I catch a serious wasting disease at exactly the same time. I don't like thinking about that. Even though I have a rather good idea of what I would want to happen, and Phillip agrees with me, and there shouldn't be any emotional hair pulling about putting this in writing, it's still something I'd prefer to stuff in the back of my brain while I eat Halloween candy and watch The Rachel Zoe Project marathon on Bravo.

(OMG you guys. How much do I love Rachel Zoe? So much that I wanted to write an entire post about her, like, a SERIOUS post with PROFUNDITIES, until I realized that probably none of you are watching this fantabulous show (WHICH IS OVER, WOE) and I would just look very very silly. AHEM.)

Anyway. The will. It's really only about what happens to Jack and Molly since it's not like we have anything to leave anyone. I mean, I SUPPOSE I could leave my five feather boas to my sister Katie and donate my junior high diaries to science, but those really aren't the important things. And while I don't see the wasting disease scenario actually happening and I am too afraid of airplanes to fly anywhere again ever, it's still something that we should do. So. LegalZoom?
